GOODMAN, ESPOSITO EXPLAIN INS AND OUTS OF
HOME CARE ON TV
Expert Home Care Executives Offer Information
on Making Home Care Choices
Both David Goodman, President of Expert Home Care,
and Frank Esposito, the agency’s Vice President, appeared on television
programs this summer to explain to viewers the questions they should
ask and how they can make the best decisions when it comes to finding
quality home care for themselves or their loved ones.
Goodman, who founded Expert Home Care, the New Brunswick-based
home care agency, in 1984, appeared on WABC-TV’s “New Jersey
Perspective” on Sunday, July 27th. He was interviewed by host
Ken Rosado on how to make sound decisions. Esposito provided answers
to similar questions regarding the challenges of finding the right home
care provider when he appeared on News 12 New Jersey on “To Your
Health.” This aired multiple times on July 19th and 20th.
In addition to running Expert Home Care, the state’s
largest live-in home care agency, the two partners started Companion
Connection Senior Care, a national membership organization that teaches
members how to start their own businesses providing non-medical home
care services. That organization, now just four years old, has over
175 members and generates approximately $85 million in revenues.
“In 1985, when we started Expert Home Care,
seniors who required some assistance with their ADLs (Activities of
Daily Living) faced limited care options,” said Goodman. “You
could either rely on family members to look after you at home, or you
entered a nursing home/long term care facility and spent the remainder
of your life being cared for by a rotating nursing staff. During these
television interviews, Frank and I were able to explain how to viewers
how their options have expanded as a result of the growth of home care
and how they can now, by asking the right questions, get quality care
at home today.”
