		<description>Loneliness is indeed a sad situation.  Until my mother (who had dementia) died, she still provided a partner for my father (albeit a not too coherent one) and kept him from being lonely in the nursing home.  Realizing this loss would deeply affect him, we hired people to come on a regular basis to visit him, read the paper to him, study with him and in general keep him from feeling isolated--this, of course, in addition to our regular visits.  I don't know what effect this has had on his blood pressure, but it certainly has helped boost his spirits.</description>

		<description>Yes, many people do go to sleep while watching the television. I think the experts see it as a stimulant to your senses which is why they typically recommend against it. Whatever works for you is most important.
