National Private Duty Association

A meeting of the NJ chapter of the National Private Duty Association (NPDA) was held this past Wednesday April 16th at The Heritage at Clara Barton in Edison.  Expert Home Care is a member agency in the chapter and Frank Esposito who is on the Community Education Committee spoke about the chapters goals with reference to how it plans to go about providing further education to consumers of home health care and those professionals who refer to home care.

The Chapter plans to educate consumers and health care professionals through specific speaking engagements and opportunities throughtout the year. A list of possible organizations, associations and groups is being compiled and will be posted soon.

We want to speak in front of large groups of consumers and their families of home care to educate them about how to properly select a home care agency and the standards that they should expect when using such a service.  We also want to impart knowledge to those people within the industry and who regularly refer to consumers of home care about the benefits of using a member agency.
